5. Place the Lord Ganesha statue or photo on the right side of the Kalash, facing southwest, and the Goddess Lakshmi statue or photograph in the center. Make a little flat mountain of rice on a small thali, draw a lotus blossom with Haldi on it, and place it in front of the idol.
